During my web development module at university, the assignment involved designing and developing a tourist site that offered backend content management through a CMS like WordPress. Thus, the challenge was to build a dynamically functioning website. Initially, I began by creating static web pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. To expedite the process, we were encouraged to utilise a CSS framework. I personally undertook the task of learning Tailwind CSS. The second component focused to making the static web pages dynamic. This entailed developing my own theme, creating my own custom plugins, and familiarising myself with additional plugins such as the Advanced Custom Fields plugin. During this module, I gained exposure to PHP, WordPress, and Tailwind CSS, all of which were new to me prior to this experience.
