During the COVID lockdown, Joe Wicks gained increasing popularity day by day. Wanting to focus solely on his exercises, he sought assistance with the technical aspects. His aim was to create a platform that would encourage people to enrol in his coaching lessons. Thus, as part of my university assignment in creative media industry, I was tasked with designing user interface (UI) layouts for how trainees would access Joe Wicks’ workouts. The goal was to incorporate elements such as fun and competitive achievements to motivate trainees, integrate a health tracking feature, and seamlessly display progress on their preferred devices. The UI designs were crafted with responsiveness in mind, intended for viewing on various platforms including mobile apps, an embedded feature on Joe Wicks’ existing website, and compatibility with TV viewing through his dedicated app available on devices like Google Chromecast, Firestick, Apple TV, and others.
